Scope and content

The fifty fourth item is the second photograph featuring West Harnham Mill. This watermill is in West Harnham a suburb situated in the city of Salisbury in Wiltshire. An important note is written on the back of the photograph. The note reads "The wall of the old mill at the end is a hitch, that looks as if it had at one time contained a small statue and looks distinctly Ecclesiastical. I could find no history about the fuel in any records." The note is signed off as "EH." The photograph is undated.
