The mill is on a mound with a house to the right and a Lamp Post on the corner of the road leading to the mill. There are also a Lady, three men and a dog on the road leading to the mill.
The Post Card is addressed to Mr William Hicks, Charing Heath, OR Present Tenant, and states:-
Dear Sir, Your attention is respectfully drawn to the sale by auctionof this fine mill and House by Messrs Reeve and Firm at New Romney.
