Meopham Mill, Kent

Built in 1819 by three Killick brothers and remained in the family until 1889. It closed in 1965. It is listed Grade II* and is managed by the Meopham Windmill Trust.

Cutting from "News Chronicle". A miller and his two sons fought throughout the night to save their windmill during a gale. They managed to tie down the sails by the early morning.
