Lease of a plot of land at Inglewhite for the purposes of a stone quarry.
6 page duplicate lease on paper (measuring 25 cm x 38 cm) with a hand-drawn plan attached. The plan shows an area of land leased, initially for one year, by Townley Rigby Knowles of Fishwick Hall, Preston, to the Rural District Council of Preston for the purposes of quarrying the demised land for stone. The area of land leased is adjacent to Inglewhite Silk Mill.
