Archival history

Prints of these photographs were lent to George Philips Printers in London in the 1960s by an individual interested in publishing a book on windmills, and copied by Roger Chillingworth, an employee there at the time. Roger Chillingworth scanned his copies in 2013-4 and donated the digital files (along with scans of images taken by himself) to the SPAB Mills Section in January 2015, who passed them to the Mills Archive.
