"Hanthorpe in the parish of Morton. Belonged to Hanthorpe House Estate - Squire Colonel Parker . John Thomas Sommerfield was a tenant and worked the mill about 10 years until 1875. Machinery removed and tower cropped to two floors about 1912. Stump demolished about 1942. Photo about 1900."
