Alfred Hone at City Mills, Ely

Donated by Lyn Cottrell. Believed taken in the 1890s at City mills, Ely, Cambridgeshire, where Alfred Hone is listed as miller in 1892 and 1900. The photograph shows Alfred's second wife Emily, his daughters from his first marriage, Maude and Nellie, and his stepson William. Alfred's first wife died in 1892.

R. Voller. The article is about Gloucester milling, where Reynolds Mill is located. A letter from H. M. Soly to Ernest Vincent. The letter mainly deals with the thanks Soly gives for Vincent sending him some of the wedding cake from Vincent's wedding. The letter also mentions comments on some of the mining processes in Rhodesia, and some of the shares in company.
