Almost certainly by Sidney Russell since many references to models. Also love poem to AD, possibly Alice Dungay his wife. SR (brother of Hugh and Caleb) was accountant to the mill. Diary gives daily activities and jottings for 1894.
Has been idle for 30 years, round house has tumbled down but mill still stands with two cloth sweeps. Is the oldest post mill still standing in the district, had two pairs of stones wire machine in buck driven by the usual gear from brake wheel. The man by the gate is my late uncle Sidney Russell, Photo taken 1916
