Records include minutes of NABIM, MMA, the Flour Milling Employers Federation, the National Joint Industrial Council for the Flour Milling Industry and other bodies; deeds of purchase for mills; patents; accounts and financial documents; policies; cereal stock forms; photographs.
The fonds contains a variety of media, including correspondence, publicity materials, press cuttings and press releases, photographs and reports. Most of the material covers the 1970s -1990s and includes information about wind technology for electricity generation in the UK as well as in other countries, particularly Denmark and the USA, as well as smaller amounts relating to other countries around the world. The records provide important insight into a number of organisations such as the British Wind Energy Association, National Windpower, the Wind Energy Group, the Intermediate Technology Development Group and the Central Electricity Generating Board, as well as information about projects and individuals interested in renewable energy in different universities, mainly in the UK.
