Cutting from 'Evening Argus' describing the history a watermill at Coultershaw. The article mentions that the mill was used to supplement the water supply to Petworth House, and that it was restored to a fully functioning state by the Sussex Industrial Society in 1976.

Note in the 'West Sussex Gazette' that former miller Mr Frederick W Linington had died at his home in Emsworth. He'd joined the firm of Leigh Thomas & Co., Ltd, as a milling apprentice in 1900-in Newport, IoW, and transferred as foreman to their plant in Emsworth in 1914.
