The mill owners bought the engine and built a spur line to Robertsbridge Station for the transfer of flour out and wheat in. It is part of the Kent and East Sussex Railway.

This is to the south of Petworth. The breastshot waterwheel is of some size. The right hand side building houses an overshot waterwheel which once powered a pump providing water to the town.

There is a large extension next to the original mill, but it is without a roof. There is a very tall chimney, indicating auxiliary drive. The mill is suffering from flooding.

The mill leat passes right through the village before widening out and entering the mill which at the time had two waterwheels
