Restored 18th-19th century windmill. Edenbridge Windmill was abandoned in the 1930s. It was a much admired landmark restored by Bob Austwick, a college lecturer who had previous experience in restoration of old buildings. It was sold as a mill without sails to reduce insurance costs and run as a residence re. utilities.

The first half of the notebook is devoted to watermills but the second half features windmills (mostly smock and post mills). Notes on several of the windmills reference the work of JM Heathcote. Cross references to maps/page numbers of books occur throughout.
