Copy by P Dolman of a photograph of the Front 3/4 of Bredfield windmill. The photograph shows the tower mill with all four sails and a chimney next to it. The handwritten notes on the back state: "Bredfield. August 1903. Mr Abraham."
The original copy of the Report on the Restoration of Thelnetham Mill, published jointly between Thelnetham Mill partnership and the Suffolk Mills Group, although primarily driven by the Project Leader, Peter Dolman. The report contains a variety of information from newspaper cuttings, photographs and details about the restoration work carried out on the mill itself, including all the repairs to the machinery from the mill and such items as the brakewheel, stocks, sails, fantail. It also includes information about the finances and publicity the project generated, and the future plans for 1985.
Postcard of the rear of Stanton Post Mill (Upthorpe Road Mill), with some typed notes on the back addressed to Peter Dolman. Notes read "Dear Peter. Enclosed are two photographs taken in May 1958. I used two ancient bellow cameras, one to the very old 116 format. I seem to remember that the stones that were once driven in the tail were standing against the roundhouse wall and Mr. Bryant told me that they had been removed in 1939 to reduce weight. He also said that the mill had never re-commenced work, the millwright (Amos Clark?) having deserted the project the moment war was declared. Yours Sincerely, Rodney."
