The "Three Mills" of Bromley by Bow

The fifty third item is a photograph entitled simply as the "Three Mills". However, the "Three Mills" featured in this picture have been identified as the old watermills located at Bromley by Bow on the outskirts of London in the county of Middlesex which are now subject to the "Three Mills Conservation Area" having been designated as an area in great need of conservation in 1971. The photograph was taken in September 1953 preceding this important development by eighteen years.
