"Windmills"

Letter to the Editor of the 'Brighton Evening Argus' from L. R. Everard of Shoreham, commenting on a previous letter from a Mr Grey and giving some more details about Trusler's Mill (a post mill formerly in Regency Square in Brighton), Ballard's Mill, a smock mill in Hove and Udimore post mill which he would be happy to pass on to Mr Grey.

Rustington Mill

This copy of the postcard bears a 1/2d stamp. The postage rate for postcards rose to 1d in 1918, so the image presumably does not date from later than that year.

"W.S.C.C. Planning Application delays"

Report in the 'West Sussex Gazette' on the discussions about why planning applications were taking so long to process, and how well the appeal for contributions to the Windmill Preservation Fund was going.

"Poor response to Windmills appeal"
