Cutting from 'Leicester Mercury' describing the awarding of a certificate to Mr. John Richard Owen, of Messrs. Owen Brothers, the millers at Waltham Windmill. The award was presented by Mr. Rex Wailes of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, and the article describes the restoration work done n the mill by the Owens. It also mentions that the mill was first built for Mr. Owen's granfather by Thomas Cook.
