An important note is on the back written in the same hand as the note on "EMGC-04-20-54". The note reads "Restored by M . L . Fox Pitt with the help of an architect from the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. When M. L. Fox Pitt took it over it was a derelict factory and the smell from the decay (ing) offal, could be smelt in Salis (bury) when the wind blew that way!" The photograph is undated.
