Cutting from "Southend Standard" about dwindling work at Upminster mill. According to the proprietor, it is impossible to get new apprentices because of the irregular hours.

I am grateful to you for the help you have given. I will write to the various people as you suggest. I sent a cheque for Hunt to Miss Lloyd some time ago.
