Dawson Family

Information on the Dawson family of millers from Cambridgeshire, 1827-1901. The following note was received from Mike Miles, June 2008: "With reference to the Dawson Family at Bourn Windmill....The Mill that they had was in the Broadway, they did not have the Famous Post Mill in Caxton Road. The Dawsons were ancestors of my Wife (nee Dawson). Mill House still exists in the Broadway (No. 49), but I have not seen it. The Dawsons had the mill from about 1880 until at least 1916."
