Technical inventory of surviving windmills in the United Kingdom which are reasonably complete structurally, mechanically or both. The survey was commenced in earnest in 2007, though it incorporates some material collected earlier, and is ongoing. It will has three basic elements: (1) photographs, (2) a series of written technical descriptions (https://new.millsarchive.org/2019/09/13/technical-descriptions-of-english-windmills/), and (3) technical drawings. There are links to material compiled by other researchers, whose work has been drawn upon in compiling the technical descriptions.
