An overshot waterwheel with an unusual shroud so that water could escape the millpond without turning the wheel when required.

The mill owners bought the engine and built a spur line to Robertsbridge Station for the transfer of flour out and wheat in. It is part of the Kent and East Sussex Railway.

A large pitch pine mill in working condition by turbine. The Ouse Navigation passes through the site and the loading crane and a barge can be seen. There is the back of a covered wagon also.
