Cutting from "Blackpool Gazette and Herald" stating that there is an attempt to preserve the windmills of the Fylde. The preservation of Weeton windmill has been launched by the Ancient Monuments Society. Before being taken over by the National Trust an endowment fund will be set up to maintain the windmill. Lord Derby was the owner.
