Illustrated piece from the Kenilworth Weekly News marking the completion of restoration work of Berkswell Windmill which- truth to tell - is closer to Kenilworth than Berkswell. The new owners, Mr George Field and his wife Betty, employed the millwright Derek Ogden to assist with the work and now it will be open every Sunday until the autumn. After the tower mill was built in 1826 on the site of a post mill, it was run by the Hammond family for three generations, and a diesel engine was added in 1933, but the mill went out of use in 1948.
