Unpublished typescript, by Stephen Buckland, entitled "Bennett and Elton, and the "History of Corn Milling"", includes notes, photocopies from publications, and correspondence.

The original folder contained two separate typescripts and corresponding research material - one published, the other unpublished. The folder was divided and each typescript and research material given individual item numbers (1125720 and 1125722).

Negative albums containing negatives of windmills and watermills in individual sleeves, and indexes of the subject matter (album XXIX and an album dated April/May 1969 is missing). Additionally negatives found in development wallets, or loose in sleeves.

Kent mill photographs with the old reference code were removed from the development box and catalogued as part of the Kent Millers' Tales project in 2004. These have been reinstated with the other photographs. A list of the mills is in the box. Photographs have been catalogued in the order that they appear on the list, adhering to Stephen's numbering system.

Photocopies of published works by Stephen Buckland, used for reductions elsewhere, or typescripts before publishing. Folder includes: an envelope containing a master A$ reduction of "The Walsokne Brass, King's Lynn, 1349, and its windmill", including correspondence from various people thanking and congratulating Stephen on his article; photocopy draft layout of Stephen's "Alphonse Daudet's windmill at Fontvielle, and comparable English windmill design"; folder containing spare figures and partial typescript for a paper titled "The Windmill: its earlier history"; envelope from the Newcomen Society returning the original figures for Stephen's article "Technical notes on 16th and 17th century London windmills" in Transactions Volume 60.
