"Crabble Corn Mill, Dover - History of the Mill"

The first mill on this site was built by the monks of St Radigund's Abbey in the 13th century. A huge new mill, a 6 storey building, was built near to a small country mill at Crabble in 1812. Details of the milling mechanism and "how it worked" is included.
