The search box is located in the red bar which appears at the top of every page, to the right of the words 'Images and documents'. Type what you are looking for here and press enter.

Once you have brought up a set of search results, you can further filter by using the column on the left and the Advanced Search options at the top of the page.

The 'browse' button to the left of this box is a drop-down list of the other search options options.

There are also two search bars on the Images and Documents home page:

• Search images and documents will search all items, like the search box in the top bar
• Search images only will show only results with images which can be viewed online
