Cutting from 'The Belfast News-Letter' lamenting that , unlike in England where the National Trust takes some old windmills under its wing and protects them, Ulster's mills are not so fortunate.

Letter to the Editor of the 'Belfast Telegraph' from Mr Colin J Robb about the true origin of 'the Bullet Game' which was begun by the Ancient British Fencibles, when based in Newry in 1797, which involved shooting as many bullets as possible between the sails of Ballycopeland Windmill at Millisle.

Note in the 'Irish Independent' about the repairs which have been completed on the Ballycopeland windmill, whose last miller, Samuel McGilton, had ceased work in 1915 rather than lower the standards of his flour to meet wartime regulations.
