"The mill everyone wants to buy!"

Article in the 'Aberdeen Evening Express' about Mr William Thomson(94) and his daughter Nellie who keep the old Mill of Mundurno at Murcar, on the Aberdeen to Pitlochry road, working on: even though they are pestered with offers to buy it off them.

"Cluny Mill"

Piece from an unknown newspaper, giving a story by Mr Larry Bedford with illustrations [not present] by Mr Jim Love, about a Scottish mill which is called "Cluny Mill" on an 1873 O.S. map. The owner Mr Thompson employed a millwright /mason called George Pittenddreigh to do conversion work to link the corn mill and the saw mill up into one building.
