History

A surgeon who worked most of his life in Birmingham and the midlands. As a trainee in the 1940s he spent 12 months in Amsterdam and Zwolle and visited working mills there. In his retirement he assisted the miller of Danzey Green post mill at the Avoncroft Museum. He also went on numerous overseas trips with the Midlands Mills group, as well as searching for mills when abroad on other business
